Bank connection failed: what to do
Almost always a stale approval on the bank's side. Here is how to clear it.

A failed bank connection is usually an authorisation problem at the bank rather than a problem with SignSolid. Clearing the old approval and starting fresh fixes most cases.
"Consent is invalid" or "authorisation needs renewing"
Your bank rejected the access request, often because an earlier open banking approval is still active or has expired on their side.
- Open your bank's app or online banking.
- Find the third party access or open banking consents section.
- Remove any existing SignSolid authorisation.
- Come back and connect again.
Other common causes
- The browser blocked the pop-up, so the approval window never appeared.
- The window was closed before the bank finished confirming.
- Your bank is not covered in your country yet.
The 90 day rule
European rules require you to re-approve bank access every 90 days. When that lapses, new transactions stop syncing until you sign in at your bank again. This is regulation working as intended, not a fault with your account.
Still failing
Contact support with your bank's name and roughly when you tried. Some failures are on the provider side and we can check.
