Working as an accounting firm

Run several client companies from one firm workspace, with a portal for each client.

If you signed up as an accountant or a firm, your workspace is built around your clients rather than around one company's books.

Your setup is shorter

A firm answers two questions at signup: your firm details, then straight to the portal. The questions about connecting a mailbox, naming your accountant, and inviting colleagues do not apply to a firm, so we do not ask them.

Clients

Each client you add gets its own space for documents. From Clients you can see every client you act for, who at your firm is assigned to them, and what has come in.

Exchanging files with a client

  • Your client sends you documents. Give them an upload link into their own space. They do not need a SignSolid account to use it, just a verified email address. You are notified when something arrives.
  • You send documents to your client. Upload into their space and they are notified, according to the preferences they set.

Requesting specific documents

Rather than asking by email and chasing, send a request list. Your client sees exactly what is outstanding and uploads against each item, and you can see at a glance what is still missing.

Giving a client full access

A client contact starts as an external party with no login and no seat. When they need to work inside SignSolid, you can promote them to a full member of that client's workspace.
