Connect your email and cloud storage

Connect the mailbox your invoices arrive in, and choose where the files are filed.

SignSolid needs two things to run on its own: somewhere to read invoices from, and somewhere to file them.

Connect your mailbox

  1. Choose Connect on the email provider you use.
  2. Pick the account that actually receives your invoices, which is not always your main address.
  3. Approve access on your provider's own consent screen.
  4. Come back to SignSolid, where the connection shows as active.

SignSolid reads incoming mail to find invoices, and nothing else. It cannot send email from your account.

Choose where invoices are filed

Pick a root folder in your connected cloud storage. SignSolid works out which company an invoice belongs to and files it in the right place under that root, so you do not set up routing rules yourself. You can change the root folder later under Settings > Connections, and the change applies to invoices processed from then on.

The result

Your mailbox and storage both show as connected, and SignSolid can start scanning for invoices and filing them.

Troubleshooting

  • Connected the wrong account? Disconnect it under Settings > Connections and reconnect with the right one.
  • A permission is missing? Reconnect so both the mail and storage permissions are granted together.
  • Want to skip storage for now? You can. SignSolid keeps its own copy of every invoice regardless, and you can connect cloud storage later.
