How inbox scanning works
What SignSolid looks for in your connected mailbox, and what it ignores.

When you connect a mailbox, SignSolid scans your recent mail for invoices and then keeps watching for new ones.
How it works
- It finds invoices by looking at attachments and at message content that reads like an invoice.
- It processes what it finds, extracting the details and filing the document in your storage.
- It keeps running in the background, so new invoices are captured without you doing anything.
- It reads only what it needs to find invoices, and it never sends mail from your account.
The result
Invoices that arrive by email turn up in your Invoices list already processed.
Troubleshooting
- An invoice was missed. Some layouts are hard to spot automatically. Forward it to your capture address or upload it by hand.
- An email was skipped but it is an invoice. Open it and choose Rescan email. You can do this twice per message.
- Something was captured that is not an invoice. Mark it as not an invoice to keep your list clean.
- Invoices arrive at a different address. Connect that mailbox too, or set up forwarding to your capture address.
