How your bank connection is protected

Read only access, no stored credentials, and why you re-approve every 90 days.

Your bank connection is one of the most sensitive things SignSolid touches, so it is deliberately limited.

What protects it

  • Your credentials are never stored. You sign in on your bank's own secure page, not inside SignSolid. We never see your password.
  • Read only. The connection can read transactions for reconciliation. It cannot move money, set up payments, or change anything at your bank.
  • Encrypted. All bank connections use 256-bit encryption.
  • Regulated. We work through a licensed open banking provider and operate under PSD2 in the EU.

Why you re-approve every 90 days

PSD2 requires it. Every 90 days you sign in at your bank again to renew access. If you do not, new transactions stop syncing until you do. This is the regulation protecting you, not a problem with your account.

The result

SignSolid keeps your reconciliation current using transaction data, while your login and the ability to move money stay entirely between you and your bank.
