Set up your company details

Rather than trusting whatever is typed in, SignSolid resolves a real company from the official registry and fills the form from the answer.

Two ways to find your company

• You know your tax ID. Type it and SignSolid queries the registry directly.
• You do not know it. Type the company name in the same field. SignSolid shows matching companies with their tax IDs, you pick yours, and the registry lookup runs on that.

Steps

1. Enter your tax ID or start typing your company name.
2. Pick your company from the suggestions, if you searched by name.
3. Check the details that fill in: legal name, registration number, address, county, city, postal code, and VAT status.
4. Correct anything that is out of date, then continue.

Good to know

• Your edits win. If you correct the legal name after a lookup, we keep your version. The registry only fills the fields you left blank.
• We verify again when you submit. The lookup runs a second time on our side, so the record we store is the registry's own answer rather than whatever reached us from the browser.
• It is never a blocker. If the registry is slow, unreachable, or does not know the ID, you get a hint next to an editable field and you can carry on. Your own answers are always saved.

Troubleshooting

• Company not found? Check the tax ID for typos. If it is a newly registered company, the registry may not list it yet. Fill the fields in by hand and continue.
• Registered outside Romania? Name search and registry lookup cover Romanian companies. Enter your details manually.
• Details are out of date? Edit them here. Your version is what the workspace uses.
